Susan Prather Wilkey, and husband Brinton, purchased Flora Scape in December 2007, after founder Alison Novak lost a courageous battle against cancer.

With her background in interior design, Susan felt that Flora Scape offered the perfect opportunity for her to pursue her passion and to continue advancing the company that Alison had begun.

“I had always admired Flora Scape’s work,” remarks Susan.  “I was absolutely honored and thrilled to be able to become part of the artistry that’s performed here.”  

“So often, I’ve heard someone say that they saw an arrangement and knew that it could have only come from Flora Scape.   That’s the tradition that I hope to continue and grow.”

Jane Lindley is a Flora Scape designer and our Permanent Botanical Director.  Jane has been a lifelong resident of Springfield.  She was raised in the floral industry with her family owning Lindley Floral Company.

At Flora Scape, Jane will be happy to help you create a silk arrangement or décor for your home or office.  She even makes house calls!

Jane has three children and one granddaughter.  She loves animals and has shown and raised horses for many years.  She also enjoys baking, traveling and old movies.

Eric Caskey is a Texas native, having grown up in Katy, TX for all of his school years.  After high school, Eric joined the Marines and traveled internationally.  

Here at Flora Scape, Eric is our Delivery Director, ensuring that everything we create here arrives at its destination safely and in perfect condition.  He assists the design staff on special projects and helps us maintain our studio in great working condition. 

In his free time, Eric enjoys going out on the town and watching movies.

Julie Murray joined Flora Scape in March of 2000 as a delivery driver and special event staff.  Currently, she is our Plant Maintenance Specialist and she handles all of our Saturday deliveries. 

Julie recently graduated and is a registered CNA.  She is known for going the extra mile to make sure our customers are always satisfied.

When not at Flora Scape, Julie enjoys spending time with her daughter and granddaughter.  She also volunteers her time reading and caring for the elderly.

Jen Nickols has been with Flora Scape for several years, in both full-time and part-time capacities.  Currently, she works full-time at Springfield Clinic and comes in on Saturdays to help us.  Jen is very organized and makes sure the studio is in excellent condition for our walk-in customers.

In her free time, Jen enjoys going out with friends and taking care of her two cat children.
